SEDA (Sociedad Española de Alimentos), concerned about its energy costs, decided to install a self-supply cogeneration plant, that allowed to supply steam and electricity to the factory.
After a detailed study, it was decided that the best option was to install a simple cycle cogeneration plant with a 4.8 MW gas turbine, capable of producing 15 t/h of saturated steam at 16 bar(g) through a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG).
