Design and construction of a new, 14.9MW (on site), combined cycle cogeneration plant, for the supply of all steam demand in its paperboard factory and almost all the electricity consumed in the industrial complex that Zinc Nacional has in Monterrey Metropolitan Area.

The heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) can produce steam at two pressure levels: 20 t/h at 40 bar (a), 400ºC and 3 t/h at 10 bar (a), saturated. In order to meet peak demand conditions, the HRSG has an after burner which allows the generation of 28 t/h at 40 bar (a), 400ºC and 2 t/h at 10 bar (a), saturated.
